Welcome to Free from Depression. My name is Lori and I pray my site will offer you support and encouragment for those dealing with depression, fear and panic.
I have dealt with severe depression and panic attacks for years of my life. If you are, hurting, depressed, lonely, or lost this is a safe place for you.
With God's help and strength I made it through and so can you.
That's what I want to share with you here,that you are not alone and you can be free from depression!
Depression is a pit. A deep dark hole that you think you will never get out of. I'm here to share with that you can have a life filled with, "rightousness, peace, and joy", just as God promised in His Word.
"'For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare... to give you a future and a hope." Jer. 29:11
What is Free from Depression
This website is a Spiritual oasis where those of us that are in the "pit" that I call depression can come and recieve the comfort and understanding that we so desperately need.
On these pages I share with you how,
with God's help and a lot of work I overcame depression. As hopless as you may feel right now, I'm telling you that you can have your life back, it is possible. Yes, this is a Christian site, but there is a love and a caring here for anyone that has depression and needs support and encouragement no matter what your background.
I
know what depression is and what it can do to a persons life. I'm talking a deep mind numbing depression, that takes you to a place so deep and dark you are sure that there is nothing to live for and where no hope exists. I tell my story on the Testimony page.
I prayed to the Lord, and He answered me, freeing me from all my fears. Pslam 34:4
On these pages I share with you how, with God's help and a lot of work I overcame depression. As hopeless as you may feel right now, I'm telling you that you can have your life back, it is possible.
I'm in the process of updating my sites. Eventually my sites, Free from Panic and Free from Depression will be joined by a new site I'm working on called "Basic Bible Principles".
I've found that the things I have to share concerning panic attacks, fear, phobias, and depression, work for any and all other related issues that keep people from living a victorious Christian life.
Because of this I'm building a site that includes all of these truths from the Word of God.
Along with the site, I will be offering weekly email messages through the "In Jesus" message group. I'm starting the emails now as I build my site. When the site is done the email program and the site will compliment each other.
I will only be sending out 3 emails per week, at the most. You will receive at least 1 message from me every week. Your email address will not be sold, or used in any other way!! You will only receive my emails.
